Slip Stitch Knitting 08: Mock Honeycomb

How to knit the K1 uls.
Take the right-hand needle under the slipped threads, then pick up the next st on the left-hand needle and knit this st and the slipped threads together.

PATTERN
Cast on a multiple of 4 sts, +1.
Row 1: K1, *sl3 wyif, k1, repeat from *.
Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12: Purl.
Row 3 : K1, *sl3 wyif, k1, repeat from *.
Row 5: K2, *k1 uls, k3, repeat from * to last 3 sts, k1 uls, k2.
Rows 7 and 9: K3, *sl3 wyif, k1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k2.
Row 11: K4, *k1 uls, k3, repeat from * to last st, k1.
Repeat rows 1-12.
